The EW-SD300 is designed for Shimano components equipped with SD300 connection ports, including compatible electronic shifting systems.
Compatibility depends on the exact drivetrain generation and component model. Not every Shimano Di2 system uses SD300 connectors.
SD300 vs. SD50
The EW-SD300 uses a different connector standard from the older Shimano EW-SD50 cable.
These connectors are not directly interchangeable. Shimano offers the EW-AD305 conversion adapter for certain compatible installations requiring both standards.
