A Handmade Carbon Frame Built in Italy

Unlike conventional monocoque carbon frames, the Colnago C72 maintains the signature modular construction of the C Series.

Its frame consists of seven individual carbon components, precisely assembled at Colnago's facilities in Cambiago, Italy.

This manufacturing process allows exceptional attention to detail while preserving the distinctive identity of Colnago frames.

The connections between the tubes also become an integral part of the design, creating an elegant silhouette that blends tradition with modern engineering.

Lighter, More Comfortable and Built to Perform

The C72 introduces several significant improvements over its predecessor, the C68.

The unpainted frame in size 485 weighs just 895 grams, representing a 30-gram reduction compared to the previous generation.

The rear triangle and seatpost area have also been redesigned to improve vibration absorption and comfort over longer distances.

Another important improvement is increased tire clearance, now accommodating tires up to 35 mm wide. This provides greater versatility, traction and comfort on imperfect road surfaces.

Geometry That Balances Performance and Comfort

The Colnago C72 maintains its racing DNA while introducing updated geometry that allows for a more comfortable riding position.

An increased stack-to-reach ratio makes it easier to achieve a position suited to longer rides without sacrificing precise handling.

An Integrated Cockpit and Refined Details

The new Colnago CC.02 integrated cockpit completes the C72's evolution.

Weighing 15 grams less than the previous CC.01, it features a redesigned handlebar shape intended to improve control and ergonomics, particularly when riding in the drops.

The C72 also features a discreet integrated storage compartment beneath the bottle cage, providing space for small essential accessories without compromising the bike's clean appearance.
